In Autumn, the entire Blisswood Forest turns wonderful shades of orange, red, and yellow. The temperature has begun to dip overnight, but it is still plenty warm during the day. It rains a lot during Autumn, but there is often something peaceful about it, rather than overwhelming.

Hot Springs In the Eastern part of the Arid Expanse is the Hot Springs, and it is surprisingly beautiful. Water heated from below the surface fills rock pools of differing sizes, and each cascades into the next as the water flows down the uneven ground on its way to the Swamps. They are warm even in the winter. |

Diamond Caves In this centrally-located area, the rocks of the Arid Expanse form a large network of cliffs and caves. Inside the caves are thousands of crystals that were formed when hot water from the Hot Springs flowed through, centuries before. Parts of the caves can be hard to traverse because of the large, floor-to-ceiling crystals, but other parts can comfortable fit many creatures. The caves are lit by breaks in the rocks above, and when the sun is just right, they sparkle. |

Rock Falls As the river flows through the cracks in the rocky Northern barriers of the Arid Expanse, waterfalls have formed. They are all of different sizes, but the rocks surrounding have become slick with mist.
