In Autumn, the entire Blisswood Forest turns wonderful shades of orange, red, and yellow. The temperature has begun to dip overnight, but it is still plenty warm during the day. It rains a lot during Autumn, but there is often something peaceful about it, rather than overwhelming.

Burning Border The Burning Border is the largest part of the Quiet Sands Territory. It is mostly flat-desert, playing host to both sand dunes and sandstorms. There is a surprising amount of plantlife, though it's mostly desert plants like cacti and sparse bushes. During the day it can get dangerously hot in the open flats, but at night, can be quite the opposite.

Windy Hollows Perhaps one of the most interesting parts of the territory, the Windy Hollows are made up of numerous holes within the sand. Some are so deep and large that they can comfortably host multiple creatures. Rocks have been placed along the edges of the holes, and therefore provide a nice, shady wind break. This is the most sheltered part of the Quiet Sands Territory. |

Riverside Respite The Riverside Respite is the closest thing to a real river that the Quiet Sands hosts. The sand is more saturated and the altitude is lower, meaning that water from the Swamps to the East often gathers in shallow, marsh-like pools. In this area grows precious life. Edible plants not-otherwise seen in the harsh environment grow here, and the temperature is often cooler by the water's edge. |
