The Ivory Dawn is a phenomenon unique to the Blisswood Forest. The Ivory Dawn may happen twice or even three times during Winter, or it may not happen at all. But when it does, the Mossy Heights territory is ideal to experience it. Just as the sun rises over the snowy treetops, the way the land rises and falls causes the light to reflect harshly off of the ice. As such, for a few long and beautiful moments, the sun shines with a unyielding white light, even appearing white itself if the air is especially full of crystals.
It was on an Ivory Dawn that the pack was formed. Koa and Epicenter, the gods of the forest, called upon Alpha Anubis and gave rule of the first pack within Blisswood to him--second of course, to themselves.
Being the first pack within the forest, Ivory Dawn and all of its members will have the benefit of being more well-rooted by the time the other clans start to form. It is a small territory, but one that will always provide enough food and shelter to its residents, so long as they do not overpopulate it.[/div]

Alphas
The leader/s of the pack. His/her word is law. When there is a mated pair of alphas they may work together and/or divide the duties between themselves. The alpha is responsible for accepting any loners who wish to join the pack.
Betas
The second in command--the deputy. If the Alpha is ever unable to perform their duties or dies unexpectedly without leaving an heir, the Beta/s will step in. Betas also organize hunting parties and border patrols.
Gammas
There are three Gamma positions within Ivory Dawn--the Lead Hunter, the Lead Warrior, and the Lead Scout. Ranked below Alphas, Betas and any Alpha-offspring, the Gammas would be the last leaders to inherit the pack.
Hunters
Self-explanatory--strong wolves who are adept at hunting safely, as well as often successful in bringing food back to the pack. They answer to the Lead Hunter.
Warriors
The muscle of the pack, under command of the Lead Warrior. Warriors are expected to safeguard the pack from any attacks, and fight for them if there is ever a need.
Scouts
Often the first-contact for the pack and the outside world, Scouts' duties consist mainly of patrolling the borders and being available for any tasks set to them by the Lead Scout.
Unranked
All those left who are either too old, too young, or too new to hold an official rank. Newcomers and young ones may be tested for any pack positions that are deemed appropriate.
