PLOT
Hey guys! So when I was writing the history for my character Kozia I had the idea for a future pack. So take a look below and let me know what you think! This is just the basics for the pack, more would come into the future it it develops into a clan.
Please leave your suggestions below and let me know if this is something you'd be interested in joining.
I S A D A E
Original wolves of Isadae are very small in size. They are nimble, fast, agile, and have a good amount of stamina. They lack physical strength, but their clan numbers occasionally make up for their lack thereof.
The markings of wolves in Isadae vary greatly, but they usually bear neutral colored fur. Bright, beautiful colored fur is not apart of their bloodline. However they're eyes can possess a multitude of colors.
Today, Isadae wolves tend to be slightly more diverse, but their small size continues to be the norm. Colors, mutations, etc seem to be occasional.

Moisture hung to the mossy fauna before dribbling into the swamp. With each drip, divine ringlets formed against the shape of the peaceful water. Late day sunlight filtered through, casting away the liquids darkness to reveal little elegant fish swimming lovingly under the surface. A decaying log floated softly along the swamp, accompanied by two chirping frogs. Their croaking a melodic, harmonious song.
Young and old alike, their voices rose with force passion. The old chasing their fond memories with stories of their historic pasts, while the young listened earnestly, longing for their own. Harmony had been established strong within these plains and everyday each being moved to nurture their history while forging the future.
Welcome to Isadae.
C U L T U R E AND TRADITIONS
The cultural dynamics of Isadae move differently than a generic wolf pack. Isadae considers itself to be a clan and not a pack.
The clan is ruled by two alphas and a shaman. For every alpha there needs to be one male and one female. They do not necessarily need to be a mated pair, as for Isadae this is an uncommon practice. Future alphas are chosen by the clan shaman through careful consideration. The duration of alpha status goes for every three years, until the shaman picks a new alpha. If the shaman has picked no one, that alpha continuous to rule - possibly till death. The other acceptation is that an alpha chooses to step down.
The shaman of the clan is a guide for the alphas and other members of the pack. They are full of wisdom and have great discernment. A shaman holds their position until death. At six years of age shamans will pick an apprentice; passing on all of their worldly wisdom. When the shaman dies, the apprentice will take the roll as a full shaman. If a shaman dies before an apprentice is appointed, the alphas will pick a shaman together.
The members of Isadae are not all related. They each live in their own families, separate with their own dens. However, they are all members of Isadae and work together in tandem.
Isadae holds important traditions, some show up occasionally and some are used in their every day lifestyle.
The biggest tradition of Isadae are the dens that they build. From very early on in their history, Isadae has been building intricate, strong, long lasting dens underneath the ground surface. These dens are almost like burrows.
It can take years before one is able to masterfully create a den. Everyone learns how, but only some pursue it into a rank. Den building can be quite dangerous, theres always a risk of one collapsing.
Isadae has a tradition of storing prey in large dens after a hunt. The dens have been there for a very long time and need continuous maintenance to unsure their safety.
Another tradition of Isadae is a very special rank called Jamakur. The job of a Jamakur is to keep track of all the prey that comes in and out of the large dens. When new prey comes in, it's their job to remember what it was and what the carcass condition was.
In the mornings and evenings, members of Isadae are able to visit these dens for their portion of food. For every food storage den there are two Jamakurs. These ranks are appointed by the alphas, usually with the shamans guidance, as they have to be very trustworthy beings.

V A L U E S
The most important values of Isadae is kindness and communication. They strongly believe in the strength of the united and in order to be united, proper communication must take place.
Doing things with passion, from the deepest often times vulnerable areas of your heart are seen as a strength.
Leading others forward and up while working with them. Never be a leader who doesn't follow and act what they preach.
Isadae strives to be a peaceful haven for those in need. Some loners come from outer lands stricken down by violence.
Unity is very important to Isadae. Despite the differences of one another and coming from different families, they are able to put their differences aside to listen to all voices. It's okay to disagree, and okay to voice your own opinion, but doing so gives the right to others as well.
Isadae believe in helpfulness. If someone needs assistance, the best thing they can do is ask for it. There is no weakness in not being able to do something on your own if you try your hardest.
Loyalty to the ones you love and even those you might not love a whole lot. Being able to set aside your own views and show up for someone when they need it the most.
From a young age, younger generations are taught these things. It's extremely important to the elders these ways are implemented.
Isadae tends to be very territorial and protective over their own, so when crossing into their borders be careful! They will give you fair trail, but don't intentionally hassle them. They won't put up with those who continue to break trust.

R A N K S
Ranks in Isadae are quite different to a normal pack or clan. They have interesting positions and all of them have their own unique name.
One obtains a regular rank through choosing what they would like to do as an adolescent and then training in that field.
The group will take turns teaching their adolescents as a whole, so they learn multiple perspectives. There will be a final test observed by the leader of that group to determine if the adolescent is ready to become a full rank.
