There are a total of 9 territories within the Blisswood Forest. 3 for the dragons, 3 for the wolves, and 3 for the equines. Each territory can only be claimed by the species that it was intended for. There is a small, medium, and large territory for each species:
Small territories - Mossy Heights (wolves), Sylvan Wilds (equines), and Viridis Mountain (dragons). These can support 20 creatures each.
Medium territories - Sandy Plains (wolves), Quiet Sands (equines), and Taji Mountain (dragons). These can support 30 creatures each.
Large territories - Swamp Basin (wolves), Monument Range (equines), and Creux Mountain (dragons). These can support 40 creatures each.
*Babies do not count towards the total, but please note that all babies age-up to young adults in two real-life months and will then count towards a territory's total capacity. If aged-up babies bring the clan's total above the territory's capacity, clan-members will have to be removed to fit the territory (or the clan will have to move territories).
1. Create a thread in the plot board titled "New Clan Application". In that thread, write the following:
- Desired clan name
- Desired clan territory
- First member and position (I.E your creature's name and the rank you want them to hold)
*A clan does not have to be formed by an Alpha (see below)
2. A mod will look over your application. Once your application has been approved, a mod will change the name of the thread to the desired clan name.
3. You will then be asked to edit your original post to also include the following:
- Positions within the clan (example: hunters, warriors, etc), and the creature/s that will be in those positions if already plotted
- Position descriptions (briefly tell us what is expected)
- How you would like new members to request to join the clan (IC, OoC, and any requirements characters must have)
- Any lore, traditions, or rituals within the clan.
4. Plotting the clan can now begin, including alphas meeting characters, plots being made, and so on.
5. The clan will officially form and be open for Rp once a territory has been claimed (see below).
1. Alphas must have 50 In-Character posts before applying to lead or form a clan, and these posts must all have correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, etc. To apply for the Alphaship, please post in the clan's plot thread (or make a plot thread if there isn't one yet) with the count of IC posts for the desired-Alpha, and links to all applicable threads so the mod team can count.
*If an Alpha takes a mate, that mate does not need to have 50 In-Character posts.
2. Alphas and alpha-players are in charge of the clan. It is a large responsibility. The player/s must be active-enough to answer questions about their clan and accept new members in the plot board, as well as be reasonably-available for new threads within the territory.
*when a forming-member does not desire the Alphaship, these duties will fall to them until an Alpha is designated.
3. If an Alpha-player becomes inactive for longer than two real-life months, the Alphaship will fall to the next highest-ranked creature. If this creature/player does not desire the lead, the position will become open. If there is still no interest in the open-Alphaship after another real-life month, the entire clan will disband.
1. To claim an empty territory, an Alpha and two other clan members must go to the territory's border to claim it In-Character.
*A clan does not have to be founded by an Alpha, but an Alpha must be appointed and present at the time of claiming, unless there is a different system of leadership in the clan.
2. That territory will become the official clan-land, and the clan will be open to Rp.
Challenges can be for the Alphaship, or for a clan's territory. An Alpha/clan can be challenged at any time, by any character (though currently, Alphas may only be challenged by their clan members).
1. To create a challenge, the challenging player/s must make a challenge-thread in the plot board titled either:
"Alpha Challenge: [Alpha name and clan]" or "Territory Challenge: [Territory name and clan]
- Example; "Alpha Challenge: Anubis/Ivory Dawn", or "Territory Challenge: Mossy Heights/Ivory Dawn".
2. On challenge-thread, the challenging-player/s will list their character/s that are involved, with the following code for each character.
3. At this point, any other challengers or anybody being challenged, will have 7 real life days to join the challenge-thread to enter their involved character/s (with the above code).
*If the challenge is for a territory and no clan members join the challenge-thread to defend it after 7 days, the clan will fall to the attackers by default. If the challenge is for the Alphaship and neither the Alpha or the Beta/s join after 7 days (unless it's the Betas attacking), the Alphaship will fall to the attackers by default.
4. After 7 days, the challenge will move forward, and a mod will create a thread in the applicable clan-board.
*Thanks for your patience, and please remember to check back as the mod team works out the challenge system.
