((So obviously this thread probably won't see many replies right away, but I want it up here in case any new dragons are created and/or existing dragons want to start getting played. I also want to move the semi-plot along with Yvonne, so I need her to start meeting the 'neighbors' ))
Yvonne;
The sun beat mercilessly against the already-heated ground, and as the purple dragon with the golden wings circled lower to the ground, the sun also brought her into its relentless caress. Yvonne didn't mind the heat, though; things like environment temperature were never much of a bother to her unless they were extreme. When she was finally low enough to smell the sulfur rising up from the hot springs she landed, all 1,500 pounds of her, with a muted crash. Silver eyes took in her surroundings, but came up without having found anybody else. That was a common theme in this land, it would seem, and one that Yvonne was quickly tiring of. How was she supposed to find like-minded individuals if there were no other individuals to speak of?
Her scaly lip lifted in a silent snarl of irritation, revealing dagger-like teeth. Her golden-patterned wings folded in to her sides, and she gave off a low growl as she resigned herself to walking the area. It was admittedly beautiful, with pools of all differing sizes falling into each other--but she wasn't exactly there to enjoy the scenery. Yvonne had thought she saw somebody there, when circling above, though it would seem she had been mistaken.
Her expression turned cold as she moved throughout the pools, all manner of thoughts turning over within her mind. She was still new to this land; at least, new enough. She hadn't yet met anybody of note, nor the 'gods' that seemed to be whispered in every short conversation she had yet had.
Yvonne's mirthless snort highlighted just what she thought of that. Gods. Ha. As far as she was concerned, there were no higher powers, save that which was within each and every creature, no matter how seemingly irrelevant. They only had to unlock it. With noble creatures like dragons, of course, these veins of power were easier to detect, but she supposed anything with breath could probably rise to the occasion if given a chance.
Another snort.
In any case, she had no interest in gods, be they real or otherwise. What Yvonne was really interested in was power, for herself and for others that might enter her inner circle, and anybody that could help her get there.
